How Do I: Save the new name of the patch?

Okay, so I have carefully dialed each letter slowly and carefully. I have carefully pushed the value button to move the cursor over wrong (this instruction is WRONG in the manual, by the way). I have carefully, I THINK, saved that voice.

But when I go to a new patch and come back, the name is the OLD name of the patch.

I THINK that I have followed the instructions. What am I DOING WRONG ?

Yes, the instruction in the manual are not for the current OS. I do think it was covered in one of the addendums. After you type the new patch name. You have to hit enter then cursor over and rotate the knob to display Y for yes, then hit enter again.
