How can I sequence my minimoog model D?

I have a future retro mobius which sends Volt /octave cv and works with the s-trig.

The problem is I need to hold down a key to hear the sequence. Is this normal? I’d like to sequence this thing without having to touch the keyboard.

You must also use the GATE output on the Moebius
