Hi! I could use some help with how-to docs for DAWs

Hello, kind folks.

You have probably noticed by now that there’s a relatively decent setup guide for Logic Pro X (LPX) included in the editor pre-release files.

We were hoping to ship the editor v1.0.0 with similar setup guides for Live and Cubase. There’s a slight problem though… basically I said I’d do this, but I have so much else going on that I don’t have time to do a very good job of it, for Live… and I don’t really know Cubase well enough to trust myself to do a good set-up document for it.

Is there perhaps a Live user and/or a Cubase user who would be willing to take a bit of time out of their life, to make an editor plugin setup/quick-start guide for your DAW, similar to the one for Logic?

I can offer gratitude and Moog swag in return  We have no budget for this, which is why I was going to do it, but I can certainly send you a Minimug (Moog coffee mug) and the T-shirt of your choice if it’s in stock. Or the T-shirt of your second choice otherwise.

If you’re interested in helping out, please send me an email at amos at moogmusic dotcom. Thanks so much!

Ok I can spare some time to do the Ableton moog plug in vst quick start guide.

I am a hobbyist so not an expert on the sub 37 but i do use ableton all the time.

I will start knocking something up.

Hi Amos,

I could help out with a PDF and/or video tutorials on using the Sub Phatty Editor with Cubase if you still need this.

I have created a thread about an issue with Cubase 9.0 and I am working through some others. I wouldn’t want to create these tutorials with users having to use on the vst (audio effect) if that’s the not plan moving forward with the new editor update coming. You will see in my other thread that the vst(I) is unable to work in Cubase 9 as well as 32 bit plugins.

Once we have this squared away, I could get started on that.

I understand you are already in contact with Amos

Thanks for suggesting !
