Last year I used Arduino to create a stand-alone random patch generator for my Slim Phatty. It’s placed between my midi controller and phatty midi in. I’ve yet to play with the software random patch application, so I’m not sure how the methods differ. The video above simply demonstrates patches being generated to help me find a proper sound for a beat.
