Hi guys/gals… can someone help me with an issue in ableton live 9.5… ? I’m trying to sync it to ableton’s clock speed. But when I press sync I lose audio. ??
All the cables are connected properly. I can play the sub via a midi clip in live. Any help appreciated… (had this beast since Friday the 13th, unfortunately a day to remember for all the wrong reasons.
Like any external clock source, it must be playing to send signal. Meaning, if ableton is stopped, the synth won’t do anything.
Thanks but I know that Sir. Still won’t sync to Live’s bpm… I’m sure I tried a phatty at some point and recall a BPM dial… am I nuts or does the sub not have the option to specify a bpm? If sync is the only
choice, I have a problem.
What midi sync options are selected in live’s midi preferences?
I sorted it finally! A midi cable wasn’t quite seated.. thanks for the help
