Hello to all of you!! I’m new but my Taurus is not.
My Taurus ! pedals have been put away for a few years. I finally pulled them out last fall
and naturally found they were playing a whole step higher. I found the manual in PDF
and proceeded to go through the maintenance. I already knew how to adjust the beat frequency
for each preset as I’ve done that a few times in the past.
The problem I have is figuring out how to check the Scale Adjustment and the FET Balance.
The issue I have is that it plays a half step low when I hit the Octave button. Also the higher octaves
appear to be off as well while adjusting the Variable preset. I have a multimeter but have no clue
what values I’m looking for when checking the R137 and pins 5 and 6 on the A103A chip.
It plays fine in the usual lowest octave most played but I do play up and octave every now and then
and would like to just get it back to factory settings.
If anyone here has made these adjustments please chime in and guide me.
