Hello
The other day, my Etherwave Pro was pushed over (accidentally) and the pitch pot on the front was broken. Aarrrrggghhh!
It’s snapped in half and needs to be taken out and replaced. This is a job I’m confident to do, so long as I know I’m putting back the correct replacement. Trouble is I have a show in just a few days so I need to source the replacement locally (in the UK).
On the back of the broken pot it says Alpha B5K 4N2 - does anyone happen to know the exact spec of this component? Is it a 5kohm log pot? Any ideas where I can get an exact replacement in the UK? This weekend, I was planning to get out an ohm-meter and measure the remains of the pot - but if anyone has a circuit diagram handy and can look it up, I’d be really grateful.
By the way, it’s not a variable capacitor is it? I assumed it was a variable resistor - but then I saw the words 4N2 and that threw me.
Any help gratefully received!
Sarah
