I turn it on and it lights up and everything, but it won’t make any sound when i hit the keys. If anyone has any info that would help i would greatly appreciate it.
This may be really obvious but is the output on/off button lit?
nah that was the first thing i checked.
Is this your problem?
What about the volume knob? Or the amp volume? Or is it plugged in to the amp? I’ve found 99% of the time, my troubles are based on very simple things. 
Was it recently stored in a very cold environment?
When I gave my Tribute to a tech to put the new chip in, the synth came back as cold as ice, and didn’t produce a sound until a long long warm-up
Do you have anything (except volume out and power) plugged into the left hand side panel? Maybe filter or vol CV in is reveiving negative voltage?
Apart from that, does it produce sound through the headphone output?
