Just picked up the slim phatty and plugged in midi cable. I can see the small play symbol appear on the screen when I press my keyboard indicating midi transfer, but nothing out of the headphones or audio out line. Am I missing something? I change patches, adjust volume etc etc… nothing. Just wondering if I’m missing something.
simplest answer: go to master menu, system utilities, cursor and scroll to Restore Factory, do a factory restore.
Make sure you’re sending MIDI on Channel 1, and make sure the output on/off button (under the volume knob) is lit.
That ought to do it… there are a few different settings that could possibly cause no output,
but factory restore/use midi channel 1/make sure output is on, should get you going…
hahahahaha, ooooops. I had it on a different channel. It works and it’s sick. Best toy in a while.
