i was just making some new patches and playing with some other patches that i had already made, and all of a sudden, my filter envelope stopped triggering
and now with any patch, the only time i can get it to trigger is if i set it to “multi trigger” “last key” and hold a note down while playing the other notes
if i try to trigger the filter envelope any other way, it will not trigger, on any patch
i am really worried, and moog is closed for the weekend
i have a new unit, 2499, with 3.2 soft and it came with the AT mod
i can’t help it, i was just getting to the point where i thought this was the best thing ever, and then this happens.
warranty or not, i spent ALL of my money buying it, i have no money to get it shipped to moog, and guitar center will take an eon to get it sent and recieved
on top of that, i had just started work on my new album when this happened
i will try to chill, maybe a quick trip to the booze store is in order for the next 2 nights
Hang on, hang on… First thing i can think of, check your TS mem. mod bus
and TS mem global settings. If those are on, and you hit the touch surface
w/o realizing it, you may have locked it into a setting where sound isn’t
passing through for some reason. I would def check all your software
settings after that, and if not, then, there’s a factory reset, right? Try
that. If none of that works, then maybe there’s cause for concern. Until
then, you’ve got your work cut out for you. Good luck!
both are off, i reset everything i could find under the factory setup menu, and still no luck
but, check this out
when i set the sustain to max. and the evnvelope filter amount to max, the attack still won’t work, but the decay starts acting like a really odd attack, one with a a weird shape to the attack
and the sustain works like normal, except that this may change at any time since i just keep on loosing more functions
also, when used as a mod source, the filter eg acts just as stupid
but when i use the vca eg as the filter mod source, it acts as it should
That really sucks, man. I can’t imagine how you feel. If it makes you feel any better, I bought an new (used) car a few weeks ago. The first time I go to start it up after I drove it off the lot, it doesn’t start up. They old saying is true, “sh*t happens!”, but it will work out.
If you got it from Guitar Center, I’d call them first. They might let you return it and exchange it.
Just talked with my favorite and the best sales rep. @ guitarcenter, peter, and he is going to order me a new one, and i can keep the one i have until the new one gets in.
