Hi, as you may have guessed, I’m new to this forum, and basically this whole scene.
I’ll just begin by telling my little story. Basically, I’m a metal head. But recently I got hooked up on Prodigy tunes. I heard that the band was named after the Moog Prodigy, and after a little research, I got interested in the making of electronica, and the music in general.
So obviously, I don’t really have a clear idea of what to expect but, I was just wondering what I would need to get started? At the moment I’m hoping to create music/remixes using both my computer, which is relatively new (bought it a month ago) and any other hardware/software I may require.
So could you guys suggest me something to get started please? At the moment I have nothing so far (I think). And I’m looking for a basic synthesiser that’s affordable and is of a decent quality, and compatible with my PC, alongside whatever else I may need.
