Hello, I am totally new to synths and I bought a Little Phatty to get started. My question is this: When the two (2) Oscillators are NOT synched, how do get the two sounds created by them NOT to sound discordant? I need a base freq and a harmonious second freq; e.g., root and 3rd interval or a root and octave interval.
I am trying to create the “Magic Man” patch myself and all sounds made by the two (2) VCOs are out of whack intervally speaking. Thanks!

I sold my Stage, (getting a Stage II soon )
but I remember making harmonies with the osc. 2. I would recommend using Osc. 1 as your pitch, don’t lower it or raise it to get the desired pitch from osc. 2. That will “whack out” the key your in, etc. I can’t remember what harmonies I was playing, but I don’t think it should be too hard to make a 3rd, 4th, or 5th. Play around with it some more, or just buy an octave pedal
Thanks buddy. I appreciate it and will give it a whirl!
Try the auto tune function
what i do when i go to the music shop and play one is set the bass footage for Oscillator 1 (16’ or 32’ what ever range your working in) and then adjust the Frequency for Oscillator 2 by selecting the footage (keep it the same or higher as Oscillator 1) then press the Frequency button, or maybe its labled pitch im not sure, for Oscillator 2 and bring the control knob for that section to about 12 o’clock until both Oscillators are in tune with each other. Now from here you can create 3rd 4th 5th whatever by slowly moving the control knob to the desired frequency. you can use your ear (what i prefer to do) or use a tuner or reference pitch from some other instrument. hope fully this will help you out. enjoy your phatty
