Happy Friday! (LP Taurus patch inside)

Hi Amos,

thanks for the fast reply and the nice patch.

Compared to my Pollies (3 out of 4 working of them at the moment, quite a good number, I would say) the sound is a little bit to moogish in the best sense of the word (i.e. still to filter-dominated, even if you try the 1 pole or 2 pole filter-setting).
It sounds a little bit more Mini-like than like a Polymoog.

But it IS a very usable and good sounding patch.

Again, thanks a lot and I never thought you´d react that quickly.

Keep on programming for the weekends (don´t eat, don´t sleep, just keep the forum satisfied !).

Finally got around to install Midi-OX and try these
Many thanks, really nice patches, I’m sure gonna use them!

Hello There, pardon my ignorance, I want to try these patches, but I am unable to make the LP received the patches.

I am running the LP Editor program on Mac OSX. Can anybody shed some light on how to send these patches to the LP.

Thanks

Hi Danny,

These patches were not saved using the Librarian; I don’t think the Librarian can import plain sysEx files. (I may be wrong about this; you’d have to ask SoundTower). Anyway, you can definitely load these sysEx files using SysEx Librarian for Mac OSX. Download it (it’s free) and give it a try. Once the patches are in your LP, you can import them into the editor/librarian from there.

Cheers,

Amos

Thanks Amos, I’ll let you know of the results.

Hay Amos (and anyone that can help)

I would love to try out this patch. I’m new to all this stuff though – I have only Windows XP here at home – what utilities can I use to upload the patch to my phatty?

And how do you guys typically interface with your Phatty – I mean, what midi interface hooked to your computer are you using? I don’t have one which means I need one…

Thakns

Hi there,

I load all of these patches using the editor librarian from Soundtower, you need to go to OS UPDATE, then a new windows appears, in there select OS UPDATE FORM FILE, the program will ask you to select the file, selct the file containing the patch and that’s it.

You have to be careful because the loaded patch will replace the actual patch you got in your LP.

To answer Colonel Monk question, i use a m-audio sport 1x1 midi/usb interface, and with the latest drivers works really fine, i did the update of my stage to 0s 2.0 with no problems at all

Hi Colonel Monk

I use a free software called midiox and a midi interface from M-Audio called Uno they work great for me.
