Gravy Tone

Starting to get the hang of these new Moog foogers in a modular snake pit sense
And I’m really starting to appreciate their somewhat mellow tone
Surprisingly every modular type patch doe’s not have to end up sounding like a rabid squirrel tearing the gut’s out of a parakeet, wad duh ya know.
Very nice and rewarding to work with all and all and very nice break from that nasty circuit bending I’ve been up to lately, just did not have enough cash for the good stuff
Still I had that knobby switch itch.
thanks for the Smooth Moog.

I’ve got a thousand + circuit bent sound’s and loops I’ve made over the years with various bad brained gear, I plan on loading them into my MC 808/ digital do all damnation station, and then running through some of these four Moog foogers to see if I can teach them analog manners.

Digital is fine, I guess, as long as you treat it with the disrespect it deserves, de lame it’s brains as it were.

Wish I’d got the Fooger filter but I guess the Minitaur will have pull that duty for now, is their a way anyone know to open the Minituars input with C.V. output?.

I hate doing that note on key thing

Yes. Apply +5 to KB/Gate and you will be set. It may react to something like the usual ‘rising edge of > 1.8v’’ but at least an analog sequencer from .com works perfectly.

Other Moog products allow a simple switch or shorted 1/4" cable but not Minitaur. Something you might want to try if you are adventurous is to take the ring from vol cv, send it back tip (once a jack is plugged in I think if not remapped via software (editor) VCA will be attenuated) and the apply it to KB/Gate.

As for using it as low pass for external audio:

a) don’t forget to raise volume of input channel with software or cc
b) do take advantage of CV mapping functions for resonance, Env, etc.
