Hi. I have technical question. If I want to have 3rd VCO in GM, I must sacrifice whole modulation section and mod wheel become inactive. In classic vintage Minimoog (not Reissue) is it looks similar? When a want to have modulation options I must sacrifice a 3rd OSC and use it as modulator? And also when I use whole 3 VCO the mod wheel basically does nothing? Please tell me if I’m wrong.
I believe so: although you can always use noise as a modulator on a vintage D
and probably an external CV source as well?
which is why it’s nice to have a dedicated LFO on the D reissue, to free up OSC 3
