Hello,
i have a Grandmother about half a year, and now it seems the spring reverb isn’t working anymore.
It was fine, when i bought it but now it only acts like a high-pass and produces distortion, when I turn the knob.
No reverb! Strange, isn’t it?
Another thing I found, that after a longer time powered on the octave changes sometimes to a lower one.
I thought, I didn’t press the the change-octave-key-sequence, but I used Arp and Seq.
I will have a look at the second point with the new FW 1.1.1, maybe it’s a bug?
Or I’m just fuzzy…
First I did send it back to the Seller, they checked it, found nothing, tho it worked again when I had it back.
Then after some time, suddenly again the same problem. I did not play it for 2-3 weeks and put it to another place in the room and there it worked again. So it must be really really sensible to frequencies, setup, whatever, I dont get it but it’s really annoying and like that not really useable
Were you ever able to solve the reverb issue? I started experiencing the same thing days after my warranty expired and I’m trying to explore all possible solutions before sending it in to Moog. I did speak with their service department and they think the pot needs replacing.
Hi!
I got today a demo unit that last week tried and everything fine but now at home the spring reverb don’t work. Some kind of distortion and high pass effect it adds (sounds cool but no reverb). Easy fix or back to the store?
