Grandmother: Legato through MIDI?? is it possible?

Anyone can help me?

I’m sequencing the Grandmother, but when I send a new note, without sending a note off, the envelope generator is triggered.
When playing the keyboard in legato this isn’t the case (as it should be when in factory default.)

I’m trying to achieve a legato using my (external) sequencer/DAW. But the manual doesn’t seem to give any clarity about different behaviour between keyboard or midi.

The Sequencer/DAW is Renoise.

OK, found out the error is at the sequencer side.
It automatically sends a note-off whenever a new note is triggered.
