Grandmother Arp clocked by Beatstep Pro?

I think the BSP is 10v, so do I have to run it through the attenuverter, or is it ok as/is? if I do, do I just dial it past zero until it starts clocking and hope it’s around 5v? I just got this thing so wanna be cautious…

Also using the BSP gate to the clock in wasn’t working, so I used it to trigger the envelope which worked, but then this morning it suddenly was working in the clock in..untill it wasn’t anymore…but then I cycled the power and it was again///

Also two times, when I have removed something from the “clock in”, the tempo on the GM gets wonky, like I can crank it all the way to the right and it wont be fast at all. cycling power worked..but this doesn’t happen all the time, I tried to do it again before I posted here and couldn’t replicate.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance!

not sure if this helps, but:

I was just running my GM arp synced to my DAW the other day, what I discovered is you can’t leave the “hold” button on the arp while starting/stopping your DAW play/record

So I would first start the DAW running, then hit green “play” button on GM, and clock would always sync properly.

after that I would hit blue “hold” button on GM and arp would work fine

edit this was via MIDI
