No way was I going to trust UPS touching that beauty! Lucky for me, I am but a 3 hour drive to Asheville.

I must say they have a “magical” operation going on there. A great big thanks to Siobhan and Jared for making me feel at home and welcome! Taking a tour of the facility was a memorable experience. I have never seen such good energy going into making something - that alone could be why the Moog sound so good.

This is truly a fantastic piece of gear, it’s built like a tank. Be sure to have a strong rack to hold this baby up. The sound on this thing is incredible and gives me the chills listening to it. The layout and design is simple and elegant.

I guess I am going to have to make a Beatles Tribute album with this Phatty or something! Anyway, Number 9 is calling me!

I’m curious to hear how the sound compares to the Voyager.
I noticed the filter cutoff opens up more than on the Voyager.
Has the LP more hi-end sparkle and aggressive sound (overdrive)?

I see #9 and #15 have been received, but no #2 here yet. Hopefully UPS will have mercy on me when it finally ships.
