Getting the most control out of midi murf

I’m thinking about picking up a sequencer or some way to control the various cc values of the midi murf.

I have an mp201, which should be able to control a lot of the parameters. I’m thinking something with knobs though?

Anyone using external hardware to control the midi murf?
