There are a number of ‘Oscilloscope’ programs available for Macintosh or PC’s. This could serve as a waveform display if needed in a computer-based setup. You could also make use of any audio sequencer program (Cubase, Logic, etc.) to view the waveforms.
Lastly, you could always use a real Oscilloscope. I believe that Keith Emerson’s Modular had an oscilloscope stuck into one of the top bays of the Moog cabinet. I think it was put there as eye-candy, displaying the waveform as he played, but not really used for any analysis functions.
None of these suggestions is a built-in ‘solution’, but then what would you need this capability for?
