I was in the Philippines for a month a couple of years ago and I saw these guys on Television.
They have a lot of heavy synth and electrinc piano stuff, but most of their lyrics are in Tagalog.
Their Name is Kala.

Ive got their album and its got some very interesting arangements, its heavy synth and electric piano.
Its a lot like jamiroquois and stevie wonder but they do some latin stuff too.
Looking back that was so a spam post but what didn’t make it as spam is that I didn’t say that they have gotten a new _______ (enter any musician in the blank).
I thought some people here might be interested, and theres a song off of their cd thats not on youtube, and its the best one ive heard.

Music in the Philippines is a whole lot more celebrated there…by that i mean the drive for music education in the schools, and even their pop music reflects a more skillful flavor than it does here in the usa.
Haven’t been able to do that in a while.
