I recently acquired a near-flawless Moog Opus 3 locally from a woman who was the original owner. She told me she bought it in 80-81. I have owned it for about 6 weeks. Originally I intended it to be used on a recording but our keyboardist is leaning towards different sounds in the studio. We have a bunch of production costs and thus, the Opus 3, while a completely awesome synth, must go.
This guy is in near perfect condition (aside from normal things like the wood sides having scratches and dings). All buttons, switches, sliders are intact Except one. The Attack slider is still present and 100% functional, but the metal piece that sticks up and round knob are not present (see pic). I was just using the tip of a guitar pick to move the slider. These pieces can be found at most hardware/electrical supply stores and the knobs are available on eBay. Its in such great condition that even all four rubber feet are still intact. This is about as good as it gets.
I have a positive trading transaction on the SevenString.org forum as well as a 1200 feedback rating on eBay (Chagall296). I am a verified PayPal member with a confirmed address and something like 800 successful PayPal transactions. I live in Millis, MA which is about 45-60 min outside Boston. Local pickup is fine, and I am perfectly willing to pack it extremely well for shipping. Payment for non-locals will be via PayPal e-check only.
Price: $675 + shipping
