FreqBox VCO - Is it the same as in the Voyager?

Hi,

Does anyone know if the VCO in the FreqBox is the same Moog VCO that can be found in the Voyager & Little Phatty? Are all of Moog’s modern VCO’s discrete?

I don’t know if it’s the same osc as in the phatty or voyager. I suspect that it is similar, but not exactly the same. I do know that it has been described “old school analog” and has no temperature control, which is not a problem as long as you turn it on for about 20 min before tuning it. I don’t know if it is fully discrete, but it does have a bunch of discrete parts and also some ic’s, which may simply be transistors or integrated op amps or a healthy mixture of both. However discrete it is, or is not, it sounds great.
