Friends,
Tell me, do any of you have both the 101 and the 107 and use them like a mini synth? How does it sound compared to other moog synths (Voyager, LP, Vintage) and how do the envelope followers respond to eachother?
I sometimes hook up my Electro Harmonix Bass Balls pedal to the output of the Freqbox for a hybrid OSC/Filter sound, and the envelope follower in that seems to compliment the Freq very well. THe only thing that I don’t like about the Bass Balls is that its not voltage controlled but I am considering the idea of getting a 101 even though I plan to get a 904 VCLPF in the future.
WHat are your thoughts on this combination?
