freqbox env out into mg-1 trig?

anybody know if this will work? dont want to take any chances on the mg-1, as it is the bass player in our band but the idea is as follows:

could i take a mic off the drummers snare, run it into the freqbox, take the env out of the freq> trig in mg-1 (which is playing bass) to achieve a sort of live sequenced bass sound? dont have everything i need to test this right now so wondering if anyone has any experience here. thanks a lot!

I’ve made a similar patch running my Polysix thru my MF-101 and running the Env Out to the Arpeg Trig in; the Polysix uses Moog-style gate in and filter cv in.

I can’t attest to the rhythmic fidelity of the patch (as my version was built to speed up then slow down), but I’m sure you can dial in and mic a proper setting to get it hitting on the beat.
