TEN DAYS LEFT!
Has anyone heard anything new on the release date? I dont trust musiciansfriend release dates, one time I waited 3 months for a DI box and every week they said itd only take a week longer to get it.
Several Moog wholesale/import-companies here in Europe told me the electronic design was finished in the week of the 26th of March. i dont know, but i guess they wanted to make changes to the thing after the first public appearance at NAMM.
They are all not expecting it to be for sale before the end of May, some say beginning of June.
So i guess MusiciansFriend and so on is just trying to lure you guys into pre-ordering.
Even saw this stupid text with; “We are going to be the first to have it in stock because we have a good relationship with Moog.” blabla moneymoney. 
Could be offcourse you guys have it a bit sooner in the States btw.

Musician’s Friend website now says 2-3 weeks. 
I wonder who gets the first batches?
Musicians Friend had the Boss RC-2 set to arrive last Halloween. It is still not available. They have been stringing customers along for almost 6 months. Not very accurate, those dates.
I called Moog, the people who would know, and they are just starting the production phase of the Freqboxes. They should start filling orders at the end of May.

Sweetwater update: Jun 13
Is the Sweetwater update for those who originally placed an order, or if you placed an order now?
I don’t know how many their allotment but that’s just when they heard from Moog that they will see some in their warehouse to start filling orders. I assume 1st come, 1st serve. My order has been in for a loooong time. 
The reason I asked is because my Sweetwater rep told me 2 weeks ago that the entire first batch going there was already spoken for. Maybe June is the date if someone orders now. (crosses fingers)
I am in the first batch that is supposed to go to Big City.
I would bet this forum would be the first to hear when someone gets theirs. (then the phone calls start… "where’s MINE!!!)

It looks like the FreqBox is true-bypass. Is this true? Are any other MoFos TB?
The MuRF is. When I was using it with other pedals, it had a huge clicky bypass. Using less pedals, and less on each DC daisychain (currently three), the problem was removed.
Personally, I would rather the MuRF functioned like the other pedals, but then again, I’m not concerned with getting a perfect guitar tone or whatever.
I must say that I am too.
