I think they are supposed to be delivered by the middle of Feb or march or something like that.

As I recall with the rebates for the Grammy sale, it was eight weeks before I got my $30 for my CP-251. I imagine your wait will be just as long, if not longer.
I think it’s something to do with the return policy from where you got it. Thats at least one factor. Like at musicians friend, they have a 45 day return policy, so Moog isnt going to send out a free CP-251, then you return the item. Soemthing like that, I was told by a moog employee.
That reminds me of a story. Sorry for the thread jacking.
When I bought my first Moogerfoogers, I sent in the rebate form (and promptly forgot about it), but never received a rebate check. About a year later, I got a phone call from Moog asking if I’d ever received my check. They mailed one out right away.
I’ve never heard of a company having that sort of follow-up for rebates. Just another reason why Moog rocks.

Heehee - the wait is a bit killer. I did finally go get some patch cables … now I’m going to see them every day when I walk in this room. Actually, before that I see the desk where the people who share my house leave deliveries on the way in. Empty. Every day. Since November 14th. Empty.
In all seriousness, no matter how much I try, I cannot stop myself from hoping it will be there! Not that I’m complaining, just poking fun at my “torture”, the torture of getting sweet gear for free

Would that not be the coolest pencil holder ever though? Put that on your desk at work. Circuit bend it to a pencil sharpener and youll have the coolest desk accessory ever.
The powered jack on the LFO would be perfect for a pencil sharpener! Great idea! I’ll bet Moog could get a hundred dollars for such a thing! Of course, finding a motor small enough to fit that’s still powerful enough to sharpen a pencil would be an issue. Some kind of gear reduction unit might be required. The stock 9 volt adapter would be sufficient to drive such a motor, though.

I don’t know exactly… I know that some parts are on back-order to us, so we can’t build them yet. I will try to find out some more info.
I did see where we are sending a postcard to everyone who is waiting for a CP-251, to apologise and perhaps give more info to you all individually.

really, you should be thankful that you don’t have to PAY for something as useful as the CP251.
It will all be worthwhile when you open that box and smell that new moog smell and see that LFO light flash on for the first time.

The form said that it would be an 8-10 week wait. Seems to be poor form to keep asking “when.”
8-10 weeks is but a fraction of a nanosecond if you consider the age of the planet.
