I think it would all fit… I’d recommend adding some passive vents for airflow; this should prevent overheating. I don’t have hard numbers on the LP heat output but it is not overwhelming.
Haha, when I first saw this thread I read the title as “fatten” the Little Phatty. So as I started to read it, I was asking myself "How the hell is doing what this guy wants to do going to “fatten” anything?
Umm yeah.
Well, if you are going to do this, I would definitely do it on a Phatty that you pick up used, no reason to void a new warranty…
This is funny. When I had an Alesis ION, I seriously considered making wooden end caps and bending the front panel UP to be more like the Little Phatty. The screen is hard to read on those when it is flat.
But then I sold the ION and bought an LP. I get why you’d want to do that though. The LP really is huge for a 37-key monosynth. But it would still be really deep, just not tall.
I mean, it’s a typical thing for me to waste time thinking about. I’ve just never really been sold on the swoosh silver bit. I love the synth but would prefer it to be more angular!
i had warranty repair by local tehnician here in Croatia.
i was lonely just for a week, so i don’t see the reason way it would not be posible to repair anything if necessary in the UK.
