first gig tonight...

Our band is playing our first gig tonight . . . at a bar . . . on the beach . . . during spring break . . . It will also be the Voyager’s first voyage out of the rehearsal space in my house.

Please, join me in a prayer to the Moog Gods, that my Moog shall remain protected from flying projectiles, spilled alcohol, and stumbling drunks.

Keep her safe from the flagrant ignorance of unbridled coeds.

Thank you, and Amen

You’ll rock, they’ll love it

Break a leg.

Sand and salty sea air makes a Moog do good.

Go man go! These things were MADE for live performance! If the show were in my neck of the woods, I’d be there!

success!

thanks for the support, fellow 'foogers.

Congratz on your gig. Goodluck on the following ones.

Excellent news. Good on you

How did the crowd react to a real instrument? :sunglasses:

It definitely got a positive reaction, especially since we hit them with a wall of Moog bass right when the lights went down.

Had a couple guys come up to the stage when we were packing up, just to look at it. -one guy- “Jesus man, what is that thing?”

I love these moments!!

I had the experience with another intrument, twice.
The first time, a guy came from the audience and asked me what it was (I had hidden the brand). When I told him he was like " Ooh… wow, ok…"
Second time, the soud guy: I unpacked the keyboard and hear a “pfuuu wow” behind my shoulder.

Anyway, I’m gladissimo everything went good -well it seems at least

Congrats on a successful first show!
