Hey whats up im new to the forum I bought a moog electric blue last week I love it. I upgraded the os to 3.5 but i noticed that the first 30 presets of bank A are weird they dont make any sound and the name of the presets are jibberish, just wondering if anybody elses does that. Or if anyone knows whats wrong with my voyager? thanks
From which version did you start the upgrade to 3.5? The Voyager 3.4 Addendum says: “Before you install the new operating system on your Voyager you should backup your presets. …”
If you upgraded from 3.3 or before, this is the reason why. So load in a back-up of your sounds or the factory sounds. Your Voyager will be 100% OK then.
It is a recommended practice to do a back-up now and then. And at least when upgrading.
I read that and I did make a back up however I am new to importing exporting sys ex so I dont know if I did it correctly. Could u please explain in detail what I have to do to get the first 30 presets back. I just bought this voyager and do not care if I loose the first 30 presets if the person before me created them. I would gladly just except the factory presets. so do I just reload os 3.5s presets from the begginning? A step by step help would be greatly appreciated thank you so much for your time.
What program did you use for the 3.5 transfer … MIDIOX or SysEx Librarian?

Hey I screwed up somehow big time. All I tried to do was reinstall the new os 3.5 I had it going ok until it didnt ask for bank c it asked for bank d twice. So I tried it again. Now I cant seem to even get it to recognize the sysex dumps. I didnt do anything different at all it just stopped recieving sysex from midi ox. So i rebooted both computer and voyager and it still wont even load the sysex anymore. I should of just lived without the first 30 presets. Now I have no idea what to do? Any Ideas? Help? Step by step cause I obviously have no idea what im doing. Thank you so much I really hope you guys can help me cause I need this voyager to be working, thanks!!
Hey thanks everyone I removed midi ox then re installed it. Then it worked as it should thanks everyone including technical support
