I recently bought a used little phatty from guitar center and when I got home realized the fine tune button doesn’t work. How would I go about getting this fixed? Or should I return the piece?
The Fine Tune control may just be disabled under the menu settings.
Check the owner’s manual for details (available as a free download from the main Moog Music web site). 
If you haven’t done so already, it might be a good idea to reset your LP to factory defaults, then run all the calibration routines. All this is detailed in the manual.

…wonders how long before the OP realises how easy it is to catch the fine-tune knob without realising, figures out why it was disabled in the menu to begin with and then disables it again by choice?
