Ordered the field upgrade from 1.x to 3.x firmware for my newly acquired Voyager Signature. Is the upgrade pretty straight forward? Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated.

The update is easy to do with basic experience in doing electronic stuff. But you need some pretty exact voltmeter for best calibration. So you may have to ask someone to help or assist you.
And backup your own sound before opening the synth!
