OK this thing hasn’t even shipped yet, but on reading the manual i can think of one thing straight off:
The Arpeggiator has Up, Down and Order modes. As this is the software part of the Taurus would it not be easy to add Up&Down and Random modes too?

Up & down is already in there. Just like on the Phatty, once you select “up” as the pattern, you can then select “back and forth” under advanced presets, and your pattern is now up & down.
OK. That’s not that obvious and a strange implementation, but all right once you know. No Random though?

I thought I saw random in there, but it doesn’t look like it is.
What Id really like to see, more than anything else is a filter audio input.
Eric
Well i was just trying to keep this about software stuff that is easier to add than hardware mods.

Personally, I don’t see the software needing anything that I can’t already give it via the cp251. That includes a Random and Noise source.
I would have liked to have seen extra modulation possibillities, such as using Osc 2 as a destination for LFO’s, Sync and Arpeggiations.
Other than the lack of a Filter Audio Input, I think Iam perfectly happy with the Taurus in its current form.
i’m completely happy, but that doesn’t stop me wanting more if it’s possible . Voyager has had a number of updates and Taurus is already on 1.04 and i haven’t even received it yet.

The T3 arpeggiator is shipping with Random mode.
And a 128-note step sequencer.
You can enter a step sequence and then transpose it on the fly using the Transpose function and the bass pedals. It’s really fun.

A step sequencer!?! Holy shiznit!
wtf? Step sequencer? You see i would never have even asked for that. Coolio.
Oh and thanks for the Random mode.
