We’re getting down to the last of the Old Schools. Only forty more and then they’re gone.
Don’t miss this last chance to own one of these limited-run modern classics.

Thanks for making this amazing instrument. I am glad I was able to grab one before they were out!
I <3 Moog!
You’ll stop making them, but they won’t be totally sold out for a long while. I’m hoping by the time I can afford one, they’ll still be in Sam Ash storerooms or listed on Nova Musik’s site. Farfetched? Perhaps. But there were a number of Stage I’s available months after they were discontinued. With the price of the Old School, I wouldn’t be surprised if they were available a year after production stopped, and the whitewash ones will most likely be the last to go. Just my prediction. ![]()
I’m really torn about the VOS.
On one hand, I do want one. I like the fact that it is (given my present financial situation) affordable and the fact that Moog took a risk to bring out such a purist design, absent of things like MIDI and patch storage. I own three other “live” (i.e. no presets) synths, and consistently have good fun with them.
On the other hand, I do own an LP already and there isn’t a compelling (read: supportable by needs rather than wants) reason to add another Moog to my somewhat crowded synth room.
Ditto on the Old School.
I have to say that I wish Moog would keep some tooling for this instrument, or build a few on demand, or a few a year. I cannot really believe that the demand will go to zero. If I had the $, I’d be getting one right now!
I love my Voyager and LP, but I also love the purity that is OS.
So, are we going to see anything new? I want to be excited!
Sad to see it end.

Is there anything similar on the Moog horizon?
I hope voltor is right and the nova musiks and sam ashes will have them in store for awhile
I’m with magnet on this one. I love my LP and Voyager rack, as well as my army of Moogerfoogers, CP-251’s and my soon to be added VX 352, but the OS is SOOOO nice and elegant.
So, are we going to see anything new? I want to be excited!
I really hope Moog´s making an update on the Mermory Moog. This seems to be the next logical move, after the update on the mini.
But i´m shuttering at what the price tag will be… ![]()

Yea, I should probably start saving up for whatever magic is to come. Donate plasma, sperm, or any other fluid that will get me money. Not to mention, I have a nasty itch for a hammond. Never enough toys!
OLD SCHOOL MemoryMoog! No digital, except for the synchronized pots that would be required to pull it off. And polyphony! HUGE polyphony! ![]()
I have an M101 W/Leslie You can have for $100 if you pick it up. Electrically and mechanically in very good condition. Case is very good also. During a move years ago some of the keys were broken. They’ve been epoxied and work perfectly but you can see where they were repaired.
You want to do Green Onions or Whiter Shade of Pale this is what you need as the M’s didn’t have harmonic foldback and a console doesn’t sound the same.
This has new glass and a rebuilt reverb amp in it.
I really don’t need 2 Hammonds and 3 Leslies!
this sounds amazing. i have a tiny saturn, so i am not sure if that could fit, but i am definitely interested.
Out with the Old school,
In with the new

That’s so adorable! Whether or not I would buy that for my kid is a whole nother story. ![]()
muahaha. that is how you teach your kids about the wonders of analog right from the start. when i have a kid, i will have to buy that for them.
I have a mint Keith Emerson style Hammond c3 I need to get rid of! Wife says 3 Hammond 3 series is just overkill.
I love that they put the music note logo on the butt. After crying, it was the first music my daughter made…
