here’s what’s happening with my moog voyager at the moment, very bizarre
on some presets ouputting on both channels as normal, headphones and main outputs
on some presets ouputting on neither channel, just low level noise
on some presets outputting only on right channel on main output and headphone (non-functioning ch gives low level noise)
on some presets ouputting only on left channel on main output and headphone (non-functioning ch gives low level noise)
on some presets outputting only on left channel on main output, and only RIGHT channel on headphone outs (non-fucntioning ch gives low level noise)
same as above with channels swapped (non-functioning ch gives low level noise)
tried init paramters - no change.
tried factory reset - no change
tried factory sounds - no change.
still some (most) presets only outputting on right side only headphones
still some (most) presets only outputting on left side only master out
some not outputting either side, or just faint sound with a lot of noise
…in above cases ‘no output side’ has a great deal of noise.
…i’m in london, uk. is there someone at moog asheville i can call to trouble shoot and get advice about repairs?
I would talk to Rosser at Moog. He has been very helpful to me with any troubles I’ve had over the years. Use the Contact info on the website. GMT -5 for timezone
so what happened then? had you got it back to normal?I am a new owner of voyager and I seem to have the same trouble.Would you please give me some advise?

Could it simply be due to the position of the filter mode switch in each patch ?
Each filter is sent to a separate channel, left and right. But when that swtich is in the “highpass/lowpass” position, and the cutoff is fully open, one channel will have a lowpass filter that leave the sound untouched and unfiltered, but the other channel will have a highpass filter filtering everything below the cutoff point and letting only very high frequencies thru…
No,it’s a hardware issue.I brought the XL back to my dealer and changed for a new one yesterday. But the new one’volume doesn’t come to zero.So I got another problem.Just throw it back to my dear dealer again and take my money back. The quality of this genius makes me sick.I don’t want this GREAT synth anymore. It’s a nightmare.
