External Midi Control Shortcut?

Hi Guys,

I’ve been playing around with my sub 37 and it’s taken a prominent position in my workflow and i can get it to external control other synthesizers but the way i have been doing so is as follows:

  1. hit midi button set the midi channel out (to whatever i want to control in my setup)
  2. hit the global button turn off local control (so i don’t hear the sub 37)

Is there a faster way of doing this? Maybe a shortcut i’m missing? I don’t see any in the manual or after a quick search in the forums. Perhaps i can request a shortcut in a future firmware update: maybe something like hold MIDI button for 3 seconds and it turns in to external midi mode (at preset midi channel of choice).

Just as a side note the analog keys has a dedicated button “Midi Ext” that does what i’m describing.

I just hit the mute button. Unless you need to turn midi off.
