External Input on Voyager RME

Hello,

I have recently purchased a used Voyager RME and am really happy with it. I was just wondering if any one can point me to some documentation or something that explains what can be done with the external input. I’m curious as to what can be done with this. Can I plug my guitar into it an morph the sounds? etc…

Also, I am unsure of what the reference to the touch pad means for the RME. Is it referring to using an external touch pad as a controller?

Thanks.

Your external imput can be used to run any audio source through the filters. Bass drums vocals other synths…just whatever you have.

You can try changing the filter poles and messing with that, or even running the Voyagers own headphone output back into it for overdriving.

Great, thanks EricK, I can’t wait to try this out…I love the filters on this thing!!!

try plugging in your Ipod, too

very interesting idea! :sunglasses: Thanks!

lol A+

Hi CTRLSHFT.

I just went in to your myspace site, and stumbled upon your t-shirt.

That´s a very nice design. Kinda Kraftwerk meets Bauhaus(all tough Kraftwerk are very inspired by Bauhaus). Did you do it?

I just love the grafics and the designs that came out of Bauhaus in their short period!

Very cool. Just want to let you know

I designed it in illustrator, thanks for the kind words!

Be sure to get the VX-352 CV input box. Once you start messing with the attenuators, and the 4 way mult, plug in an expression pedal and it’s ON!!

I can see how the Multi Pedal would work wonders with a rig like that… jeez.

Yes, I really would like to mess around with the VX-352 but unfortunately I still gotta pay off the Voyager :frowning: …I can’t imagine how much time I’d spend enjoying the possibilities of mods with this device! I have to say that being able to make changes to knobs and such in real time and not a mouse click can’t be beat…something about the sound of amplified electrical waves… yes!! :sunglasses:
