External Doepfer filter

Hi, searched this forum but couldn´t find an answer. I want a multimode filter with my Voyager RME and have been looking at Doepfer which has smaller jacks. I was thinking of buying a small case with just the filter and a VX-352. What more would I need?

A power supply and 1/8" to 1/4" adaptors.

You might want to look at synthesizers.com for a multimode filter. Then it will be 1/4" jacks and all voltages are compatable. They also make an inexpensive wall wart power supply.

Thanks!
I know .com would be easier though living in Europe it will be much more expensive with taxes and shipping.
Also, would I be able to control the filter with Voyger´s envelopes and lfo´s if I have the VX-352?

I run a Voyager with Euro-rack format stuff all of the time. I use the VX-351, which is the Keyboard version’s CV OUTPUT expander, in order to do all kinds of things. Just get a Euro-rack case in order to power & house the Doepfer filter and then make (or buy) some eighth inch to quarter inch cables. You’ll probably want at least 4 of them to start: Input, Output & 2 for CV control.

The VX-352 is an INPUT expander. You would need the OUTPUT expander in order to control other gear from the Voyager. Please research this aspect carefully as I do not have the RME, so I don’t know anything about what external control options are available from the RME. I do know that the VX-351 on the Keyboard Edition works fine.

VX-351 with Voyager RME and Doepfer morphing filter works very well here.

Great! Will go for the SEM filter though.
