Ext Audio within the Voyager

Hello Everyone,
So far we were using the Voyager only for generating sounds.
Now we wonder if it is actually possible to treat an ext audio signal such as a sample within the Voyager. Even can I plug a guitar, another synth or a talk box through the “Mixer Ext In connection”? The idea is to use the filter section and the touch pad of the Voyager for an external audio source.
I apologize if this question has been raised already.
Many thanks for your help.

Of course - that’s what the ‘Ext Audio In’ jack is for.

Ext Audio In allows you to apply an external signal (guitar, synth, tape loop, etc.) into the Voyager Mixer where it is combined with the oscillators and noise source. The Mixer output goes to the Filter, and then to the Output.

By switching off everything in the Mixer but the external signal, you’ll be able to process your sound through the Voyager exclusively, and use the Touch Surface and other controls to effect the signal (depends on the patch/settings). If the ‘Env Gate’ switch is set to ‘Keyboard’, you’ll need to trigger the Voyager’s envelopes by pressing a key on the keyboard in order to hear your signal. If the ‘Env Gate’ switch is set to ‘ON/External’, you’ll be able to hear your signal without having to trigger the envelopes.

The Ext Audio In jack can handle a wide range of signal levels. Use the EXTERNAL Mixer knob to adjust the gain of the applied signal. The LED above the EXTERNAL knob will tell you when you start to overload the Mixer. Intentionally overloading this input will really fatten up your sound.

What a good news… I am gonna try tonight for sure and let you know.
Many thanks for all those clarifications..
Cheers
