Plugged my Source through a Mobius to use as a sequencer and midi/cv, into a Future Retro 777 (a friends) to his mixer and through my Vox Tonelab to the PA. What a blast, it all continually sent shivers through us. When set the Tonelab to phaser and some of the other effects is was sonic bliss. There still is nothing out there like the Moog filter - many try to copy, some come close but none achieve it. At one point I was sure his speakers were about to shred.
got very close to the mini’s growl this morning using the Tonelab, just sold my Studio Electonics SE-1 as even though it has 3 osc and is supposed to emulate the mini I just felt it fell a little short. It has some nice features but would rather have a Future Retro Revolution for a different sound in conjunction with the Source right now.
