first off - great fun and real versatile little machine! though i am a noob to animoog, with background knowledge to synthesis in general, this is a treat to learn.
there is one thing i am not sure about and whether it is meant to be that way and i don’t get it, or a bad bug:
the envelopes become stuck, when positioning them in a certain way.
i can reproduce the following on any of the envelopes (Amp, Filter and Modulation):
when moving the “attack” point to the very left of the display, it becomes stuck there and can’t be modified anymore.
often, it seems that this “sticking to the left border of the display” corresponds to the decay dot having been touched or not an having been moved to the left of the first dotted line. however, in 90% of all cases (totally random, not limited to certain presets or decay settings), once i move my attack the the very left, i can’t do anything with it anymore thus pretty much hindering me on working on the preset and forcing me to recreate the preset…being careful as hell, not to move the attack to far to the left top corner.
I tested for this and did not have the same problem, or not so bad as you describe.
It can be the case for me that it takes a couple of attempts to grab the envelope adjustment handle when it’s in the top-left corner, but usually if I tap slightly below and to the right of it, it ‘picks up’ and will move if I drag it away from the corner… I’ve never had it get stuck to where I had to abandon the preset in frustration. Only one or two false taps and then I can grab it OK. Try a tap-drag maneuver where you tap just adjacent to the point and then drag to move it… I hope you will find, as I did, that there is always a place you can tap that will grab the point and allow you to drag it away from the corner.
It somewhat works. Surprised, as i have i have to have the tip of my finger quite far off the dot and it’s a bit of fiddly hit-and-miss, but i can get the dot to move, which is the important thing.
I am guessing, my finger has to be fully within the env display to be reckognized.
