My RME is driving me crazy…it simply just sounds different than my Voyager.
My main problem so far is VOLUME. For some reason my RME just does not output the same volume level as my Voyager.
Am I missing some internal setting? The RME is brand new, OS 3.0…I’m pulling my hair out trying to get the thing as LOUD as my Voyager, which makes it a bit difficult when I’m trying to get recording levels to a respectable volume.

are the presets set to remember master vol settings (its a setting in one of the menus) as these might be set lower than the voyager . It could be when you are selecting patches the rme is jumping to the master vol saved settings rather than the actual postion the volume dial is in.
Otherwise i know it sounds silly but are you using the same amp/speakers/desk?
also check the cable you are using, as crappy cable can cause severe volume loss.
also if its connected to sofware make sure its not outputting midi vol changes to the rme.
