Elka Concorde 881

Hey guys, it’s been a long time since I posted here, and I hope this won’t go too much off topic. I’ve tried this Elka Concorde 881 yesterday and here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myzIaW4tOdY&feature=channel_video_title

Not off topic at all in my opinion! That thing sounds awesome… Can you post another video that gives a better view of the instrument? I want to see what it looks like. :]

Holy Moly! What is that thing?

Sorry I’m not in the studio anymore, so I won’t be able to make new videos in the next days, but I’ll be back in the studio by the end of the month. Anyway, you can see the Concorde from top in this video from a couple of years ago, it’s the big one on the far left: http://www.youtube.com/user/julieshaircut#p/u/4/B8P_m2zH4cs

And here it is in picture: http://it.audiofanzine.com/organo/elka/Concorde-811/medias/a.play,m.11585.html

It was made in Italy by the legendary Elka factory. They also used to build amazing organs. It has a regular keyboard for the solo part, 3 different layers of “arrangement” (like arpeggios and stuff like that, not fully customizable, but quite rich in variations), a drum machine for rhythms and a smaller keyboard on the left hand for harmonies (like the one of an accordion).

While, getting back in topic, here is a video I posted back then with a Prodigy thru a talk-box: http://www.youtube.com/user/julieshaircut#p/u/16/_9xv407UmkU

For more videos, this is Julie’s Haircut’s (my band’s) channel on youtube, enjoy: http://www.youtube.com/user/julieshaircut#p/u

Sorry guys, just to specify that I mispelled the model in this post. It’s Elka Concorde 811, not 881!
