Fantastic lo-fi footage with great sonic backing. You shot 8mm Erik? A friend of mine brought home (Melbourne, Australia) some 8mm film from ‘Retro Enterprises’ in Tokyo to feed my little Single 8 camera, both colour & B&W, but I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. Putting analogue soundtrack to analogue film is a wonderful idea. Looking forward to Part II!

I should specify that I meant hi-8. We do have some old 8mm footage and I do have some old types of video cameras, including a super 8. I understand it’s like 53 dollars per foot, at least it was several years ago.
Ah, well Hi-8 was still analogue (I think), just magnetic Tape based not film! Thankfully Single-8 isn’t quite that expensive ($53/foot) just yet, there is a company in Tokyo who will sell it ship it with return shipping paid for and process it all in the one package. It has a very unique ‘look’ to it, something I grew to love when a Japanese company (Powershovel/Superheadz) sent me a camera and film to document me using one of their toy cameras, the blackbird fly which I had previously beta-tested for them…
