Editor: How to edit the category of a hardware sound?

I found no way to edit the category of a sound residing in the machine.

I think it’s the same as editing any other parameter on the hardware:

  • go to the Librarian page
  • pull a preset over from the far-right to some folder in the middle
  • double click on the new copy
  • go to the Editor page (maybe not needed?)
  • change the category in the top bar
  • click the Save button in the top bar
  • go to the Librarian page
  • drag the preset from the middle to the right, placing it back in the slot

I’m not actually at the editor right now, so I could be completely f.o.s.

Sorry, folks; I really messed up this one.
Short form:

  • pull preset over from HW list to middle list
  • use drop down category menu for that preset
  • drag the preset back over to the HW list

There’s a Change Category option on the rightclick menu when clicking a preset’s category in the middle pane. Choose it and reselect category for the specific preset.
