Dubplate video. Just got my 10" acetate in the mail...

I sent my files to this cutting house in B.C Canada to get a 10" acetate dubplate cut of my new tune “Heat”. It’s a General Levy tune remix, or a bootleg I guess. Anyways, I paid 125$ for the disc, and an additional 45 for mastering for vinyl. It came back sounding way better then when I sent it. I guess that’s why they do what they do. Cuz they’re good at it! Haha, so I might be distributing the tune on whitelabel as a promo, or eventually officially releasing it.

125$ for a Dubplate…dude… :open_mouth:

I pay an average of 65$ for a 10" dubplate including shipping and mastering…

Still i am mighty interested how it will sound on plate…

65$ canadian? But then you say “i am might interested how it will sound on plate” so does that mean you’ve done it?
It sounds sick let me tell you. Better then a file any day.

send me your link to the cheeper cutting house if possible

It is a European cutter…dunno what the shipping cost will be.

Btw…i converted it to US dollars…not to Canadian…sorry…
(is about 100 Canadian dollar i see now)

I have made several dubplates…and CD’s…and official vinyl releases…comes due to the fact that i have my own record label…so releasing something is not that difficult for me…
