I was quite excited to read that Dr. Bob was visiting Scotland this year, and I was fully prepared to make the 1000 mile round trip…until I saw that JJ Perry was the ‘co-star’.
OK - both “greats” and both with “stories” - but I would like to see Dr. Bob showing off his current line of equipment (even in Scotland), and I personally don’t feel that JJ could do it justice.
I appreciate the ‘focus’ of the planned events, and as “an audience with…” type of event it will no doubt be very interesting (albeit to a minority), but not something that is going to promote sales and the Moog business I would think.
From the looks of things the planned events don’t appear to be geared towards promoting the company or the current product line at all. I can’t help thinking that these opportunities could be used to better effect.
