I had a key transposition problem yesterday that caused me to do a factory reset - and for some reason now my Electric Blue’s Bank C is now a copy of Bank E all of a sudden.
Can I download that specific bank for the EBE from somewhere?
Silly thing is - I downloaded all banks using SysEx a while back as a backup just in case - and now Voyager Editor Library won’t load from these 37kb saved bank files. Should it?
I don’t know about the Voyager Editor software. But couldn’t you simply upload them from your computer to your EB via system exclusive data ? (the reverse of what you had done a while back. Just make sure Sysex is Enabled in the Master Mode menu)
EDIT: Since you’re like me, on a Mac Mini, you could use SysEx Librarian freeware to do so easily…
Golly - I need a break from everything. LOL! I’m making mistakes.
I managed to fire up Voyager Editor OK - and attempted to follow my own logic and “Load” a preset bank for (version 3.5) from the ones I used SysEx Librarian to backup before. Before I updated to OS3.5 I archived everything - OS and banks, like a good operator should.
When loading Bank C (v_350), the list populated with Bank E presets! Arggh! The Electric Blue-specific bank, I couldn’t find.
I looked further through the menus and there it was - (menu) Moog / Moog Banks / “Electric Blue”. I selected that and it prepared to upload the bank.
I fired up “Receive Banks” over on the Voyager and up it went. Phew. I still question why SysEx Librarian saved banks after I used it to back up with wrong data - or was that the Voyager supplying the wrong bank data (by name) on download? Hmm.. It’s all a bit to much like a mystery to me.
No more posts for a while. I’m panicking too early. LOL! Sorry all.
