I apologize if this is kind of a “dumb” question! I’m not the most knowledgeable person with modular synthesizer systems but I do know a little though! My question is, does the Moogerfooger CP-251 Control Processor work well with the new CV/GATE OUT Mod on the Little Phatty? I know of course the CP-251 is used with the Little Phatty’s left side INPUT panel, but is the CP-251 also just AS USEFUL with the new CV/GATE OUT Mod on the right side OUTPUT panel? Basically, can I use my new Little Phatty CV/GATE nicely with the CP-251 or should I look into (other) modular gear? I want to experiment a little with my new Little Phatty CV/GATE OUT and was wondering if the CP-251 would work well. I’d appreciate all your insights very much! Thank you.

A CP-251 is an excellent add-on for the LP - as are any of the foogers really. Depends what you’re looking to do but yes - you can do alot with the CP-251 and your LP. There is another thread here that just discussed that - maybe the Voyager vs LP thread?
I’m not sure if you understood. I now you can use a cp-251 with a Little Phatty of course. but as I understood it the cp-251 is a tool you could use with the left side panel of your Phatty as you could INPUT different sources into your Phatty, but the new cv/gate mod on the right panel are all OUTPUTS. this is what I’m not quite sure of. I’m trying to experiment with cv/gate mod on my Phatty. Can the cp-251 work with the cv/gate out right panel? or is more of a tool that works better with the left panel of the Phatty? hope this makes sense. thanks for your comments/opinions.
The CP-251 has both inputs and outputs so it will work with BOTH sides of your LP (input on left and output on the right) - I think you can download the manual online - check it out. There are lots of possibilities for CV i/o with the LP and CP-251.
Thats kind of what I figured : ) Thanks a bunch for your replies. I really appreciate it. I think I’m gonna order the CP-251. I have some MFOS semi-modular stuff that would work, too, I think, but it would be nice to hook up the Phatty with a MOOGerfooger. : ) Thanks again for you help, earsmack!
